Privacy
CutMyBG is built so the picture you choose is processed on your device. This page describes what that does and does not mean.
Your image stays on your device
When you remove a background, the image is decoded and processed in your browser. The pixels are not uploaded to a CutMyBG server for processing, and CutMyBG does not keep a copy of the file. Closing the result or choosing another image clears the preview in the browser.
The AI model is downloaded
The first removal downloads the model and its browser runtime so the tool can run locally. Those files are cached in your browser and reused later. They are not your image. A network request for the model is expected. A network upload of the picture is not part of background removal.
What the site does not collect from the picture
The remover is not built to send filenames, image bytes, EXIF data, or the picture URL to an analytics service. There is no account, so there is no profile of past images.
Ordinary site delivery
Loading cutmybg.pro still requests the page, fonts, and images that make the site appear, the same way any website does. That request does not include the photo you later choose for background removal.
